This year features a new design unlike anything available on the market right now, incorporating what’s known as a “sand battery”. Essentially the stove box hovers within a bigger box, which you then fill with sand that heats up and retains that heat. There are many benefits to this kind of stove design including:
-Thick steel walls and sand as an insulator allows for excellent heat retention and much more even heat, just like a full size stove.
-It's safer then a traditional single walled stove as the sand keeps the sides, bottom and rear portion of the stove from getting up to scorching temperatures.
-The small size means you can fit it just about anywhere or mount it on a pedestal.
The stove measures only 1 cubic foot with an 8” w x 10” deep fire box. The steel on all portions of the stove is 5/16” steel plate. The weight it approximately 75 lbs. It features a removable glass viewing panel and also includes a steel insert as well if you don't like the glass or plan on using it in a sauna. Under the door is an adjustable sliding air vent that allows total control of how much air you want to feed to the fire. Piping is approximately 2 3/8” in diameter, and its all made of solid stainless steel.
The kit contents include everything you need to install the stove in an a tiny home, wood fired sauna, RV, ice fishing hut, truck camper, van, canvas tent, small cabin, hunt camp, shed or w.h.y. (Thicker walls/rafters may require a different stove jack setup).
Everything in the pictures is what’s included in the kit. All you need is a bag of play sand to fill the stove. Kit contents is as follows:
-Canvas wood bag (conveniently the same width as the firebox is long)

×6 lengths stainless steel pipe (1 wrapped in high heat fiberglass wrap to prevent any possible scorching of the silicone stove jack)

When it comes to purchasing a blade or any of my products, you assume all responsibilities for the safe handling and proper care of the item. A lot of these items are made from natural materials or materials that require regular upkeep to maintain their appearance, as heavy usage, UV, moisture and other elements can all cause damage and degradation over time. All Damascus steel is etched in acid or other etchant to reveal the blade pattern. Heavy use and/or scrubbing of the blade will wear down the etch over time, making the pattern harder to see, so be aware of this before making a purchase as a monosteel blade may be better suited for your intended use. Furthermore, all high carbon steels are prone to rust if left damp or wet, so always wipe clean after use, keep dry, and apply a dab of oil (olive/canola works fine) to the blade whenever possible. Leather will also dry out over time and will require treating with mink oil or other suitable products to maintain its flexibility and water resistance.
