Here we have a cable canister Damascus straight back blade, with a slight drop point. It was forged using a combination of carbon steel cable, 1080 powder with 2% Nickel, and an old Nicholson file at its core to achieve a tough blade with good hardenability and edge retention. This is a full hidden-tang design, with guard and pommel being made of brass. The pommel is threaded directly onto the tang with a steel insert and peened over for one of the strongest blade constructions you can find. A nice mosaic pin is also incorporated for aesthetics. The handle is made from Amboyna, which is an exotic hardwood not found here and has a beautiful dark red/orange grain. The sheath is constructed from 2 bonded layers of thick full grain leather (4 layers total) with the addition of a thinner oil rubbed "pouch" for a thin item like matches, etc. All of the edges are beveled and burnished. It is constructed using Chicago bolts, that can be unthreaded for disassembly if cleaning is needed. Comes fastened with an angled belt loop for mounting.

DISCLAIMER: PLEASE READ!
When it comes to purchasing a blade or any of my products, you assume all responsibilities for the safe handling and proper care of the item. A lot of these items are made from natural materials or materials that require regular upkeep to maintain their appearance, as heavy usage, UV, moisture and other elements can all cause damage and degradation over time. All Damascus steel is etched in acid or other etchant to reveal the blade pattern. Heavy use and/or scrubbing of the blade will wear down the etch over time, making the pattern harder to see, so be aware of this before making a purchase as a monosteel blade may be better suited for your intended use. Furthermore, all high carbon steels are prone to rust if left damp or wet, so always wipe clean after use, keep dry, and apply a dab of oil (olive/canola works fine) to the blade whenever possible. Leather will also dry out over time and will require treating with mink oil or other suitable products to maintain its flexibility and water resistance.
I aspire to maintain the highest workmanship standards with my products, as I have worked hard to maintain a good brand loyalty and reputation with my customers. That being said, I am only human, and sometimes something may slip through the cracks. If this happens, or you have any concerns about anything you've purchased, don't hesitate to reach out to me so I can try to resolve any issue you may have.
Thank you for you purchase and enjoy.
